Certified Medical Assistant

Upon successful completion of course, the student will receive a certificate of completion as having completed the training requirements of the Certified Medical Assistant. This program is designed to provide thorough didactic and practical instruction and a basic system overview of the role of the medical assistant in a practical setting. Classroom lectures cover the theory, anatomy and terminology pertaining to each system. Practical instruction provides hands-on training in the listed procedures verified through a skills check-off system. Upon completion of this competency-based program students are eligible to take the national Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) exam from the National Health career Association. The registration fee includes textbooks, supplies, study guides and exam fee.


Certified Nursing Assistant

The Certified Nurse Assistant program prepares students to work with long-term care patients, such as those in nursing homes and home health care. Instruction includes medical terminology, health care safety, patient care lecture, patient care studies, practice lab situations, and on-site clinical. Click here for more information.


Phlebotomy

HPHL 1013 Phlebotomy

This course discusses introductory information relative to phlebotomy theory and fundamental phlebotomy skills, including venipucture, capillary sticks, infection control procedures, and lab tests that the Phlebotomist may perform, including 75-hour classroom and 45-hour laboratory practice. Study of advanced phlebotomy skills and procedures that include laboratory administrative procedures, ube identification, and laboratory equipment usage is also included. Students perform introductory, fundamental, and advanced phlebotomy skills in the lab for instructor evaluation in preparation for clinical externship. Students spend an additional 90 hours of supervised preceptor clinical hours in a variety of health care sites to obtain the necessary course requirements for a total of 210 clock hours.

HPHL 1023 phlebotomy Clinical

Students will be using phlebotomy skills and procedures that include laboratory administrative procedures, tube identification, and laboratory equipment usafe is also included. Students perform introductory, fundamental, and advanced phlebotomy skills in the clinical setting. Students spend 90 hours of supervised preceptor clinical hours in a variety of health care sites to complete the necessary course requirements of 90 clock hours, 75 venipunctures and 5 dermal punctures. After completion students will take the Phlebotomy Technician Certification Exam.

Transportation and Logistics


CDL Training Course

Our CDL Class A license training program is a comprehensive 6 week classroom and behind-the-wheel program. The training covers DOT rules and regulations, pre-trip inspection, backing pad skills, and on-the-road skills. The final skills test necessary to receive a state license is administered by state-approved examiners. Funding options are available to those that qualify.

Completers who obtain their state license are qualified to drive tractor-trailers, dump trucks, tow trucks, delivery trucks, tanker trucks, and flatbed trucks.
