Branden Scott, a graduate of Northwest Louisiana Technical Community College (NLTCC), has established himself in the tech industry as a Facilities Technician at Tesla. In 2021, Branden completed NLTCC's Industrial Instrumentation and Electrical Technology program and now proudly stands beside Tesla's latest innovation - the Cybertruck.

 

As a Facilities Technician at Tesla, Branden contributes to the development of cutting-edge technology. He credits NLTCC for playing a pivotal role in helping him achieve his goals. The Industrial Instrumentation and Electrical Technology program at NLTCC provides specialized training in instrumentation technology. The curriculum includes topics such as electrical and electronic technology, basic knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), troubleshooting techniques, measurement sensing devices, control valves, and process control management.

 

Students in the industrial instrumentation and electrical technician program also learn to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various measurement instruments used in industrial settings. These instruments are used to measure or control pressure, temperature, flow, and level.
