Certified Nurse Aide Exam
Northwest Louisiana Technical Community College (NLTCC) recognizes the need to facilitate certification testing for individuals who have completed approved Nurse Aide Training (NAT) programs or have followed other Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) approved alternate routes. This policy outlines NLTCC's commitment to providing testing services for a wide range of candidates, including NLTCC students, third-party program completers, and individuals eligible for alternate routes as determined by LDH.
Applicants must attach a Louisiana Nurse Aide Training Verification form (this was given to you by the program that you completed to be eligible to sit for the exam) or your Certificate of Completion form of an approved program, or an approval to test from LDH.

- Clinical Skills Exam: $60

Nurse Aid Testing Information:
Step 1: Complete your online application.
Ensure that you upload your Louisiana Nurse Aide Training Verification form or Certificate of Completion form of an approved program, or an approval to test from LDH.
Step 2: After you have submitted your completed application, please email the NA Testing Coordinator at the coordinating campus to schedule your exam. All exams will be scheduled based on availability.
