NLTCC Celebrates High School Jumpstart CNA Graduates

NLTCC is excited to announce the graduation of 40 High School Jumpstart students this summer. Students from Arcadia, Homer, Haynesville, Ringgold, Summerfield, and Saline graduated with their Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certifications.

During the program, students learned important skills in patient care, such as taking vital signs, assisting with daily activities, and understanding basic medical procedures. They received both classroom instruction and hands-on training. Students also learned about infection control, patient rights, and effective communication with patients and healthcare teams. These comprehensive skills will help them start their careers in healthcare and provide quality care to those in need.

The instructors for this program were:

·         Rochelle Blackwell, Patient Care Technician Adjunct Instructor

·         Teneisha Lofton, Patient Care Technician Adjunct Instructor

·         Kontiki Smith, PCT Coordinator/Nursing Instructor

·         Stacey Thomas, Patient Care Technician Instructor

NLTCC is very proud of these students and their hard work.
