Plumbing
What is the Plumbing Program?
The plumbing program is a 48-credit hour technical diploma that provides classroom theory education supported by hands-on activities, allowing for the application of skills in a lab setting and on-the-job training through paid apprenticeship opportunities. The program is designed to provide specialized skills education based on industry standards.
Upon completion of the 48-credit technical diploma and 4,000 apprenticeship hours, graduates will be eligible to take the Tradesman license test. Students can also return to NLTCC’s Plumbing year III and IV Workforce Program that will give them the opportunity to prepare for the Journeyman license while completing the remaining 4,000 apprenticeship hours required for the test.
