NLTCC recently hosted an intensive four-week plumbing training program for high school students from Bossier and Airline High School. The program offered a blend of classroom theory and hands-on activities, preparing students for future careers as plumbing technicians.

Throughout the training, students learned essential skills, including workplace safety and OSHA regulations. They also acquired knowledge about basic hand tools and their usage, power tools and their usage, basic valves, pipe fitting, and plumbing concepts. The program concluded with a visit to the Plumbing Warehouse LCR in Shreveport and a tour of an active plumbing job site to provide a real-world look into the industry.
